The 1999 founding
Above N' Beyond Office Cleaning, LLC was founded in 1999 by Michael "Mike" Penoro out of Garden City, New York.
Mike's first accounts were a handful of small Nassau County offices that needed someone who would actually show up at 6pm with a key and a vacuum.
Twenty-five years later, a few of those original accounts are still on the schedule. That tells you how this company runs.
Mike still operates the business from 420 Garden Blvd in Garden City. He still hires every crew member. He still personally walks new accounts.
He has never franchised, never licensed his name out, and never been acquired by a larger janitorial group. Above N' Beyond is one company with one owner, the way it has been since 1999.
