Healthcare facility cleaning on Long Island

Medical practices, dental offices, urgent care clinics, and outpatient buildings on Long Island have rules the average commercial cleaner does not work with day in and day out. Above N' Beyond has cleaned doctors' offices, dental practices, and clinics for more than twenty years.

Why healthcare facilities need a different cleaner

A standard office cleaning routine is not enough for a building that sees patients. Exam rooms turn over multiple times a day. Waiting rooms accumulate respiratory droplets in flu season. Restrooms double as collection points.

Floors take heavy traffic from rolling equipment. The carpet under the lab printer collects toner and lab debris. None of this is unusual. It just needs a crew that has been trained to clean it the right way.

Above N' Beyond's healthcare protocol uses EPA-approved disinfectants on the high-touch surfaces, CDC-aligned dwell times on the hard surfaces, and a documented checklist for the exam rooms.

The same crew comes back every visit so they learn the building. That is the part most medical office managers tell us they miss most when they call us off a competitor.

Twenty years cleaning Long Island medical practices

We started cleaning doctors' offices and dental practices on Long Island in the early 2000s, soon after the company was founded in 1999. Twenty-plus years on, we still clean the same kinds of buildings.

Solo and group medical practices in Garden City. Dental offices on Old Country Road and along the Hempstead Turnpike. Urgent care storefronts in south Nassau. Clinic suites in the Marcus Avenue / Long Island Jewish corporate park.

The methodology has evolved with CDC and EPA guidance, but the operating principle has not changed: one owner accountable, one crew assigned, one written scope.

Common questions

FAQ: medical and dental cleaning on Long Island

Are your crews HIPAA-aware?
Yes. Crew members are briefed not to read, photograph, or remove any patient records or correspondence and to report any document that has been left in an unsecured area to the practice manager the next morning.
Do you use the practice's disinfectant or your own?
Either. We default to our EPA-approved products. If your infection-control officer requires a specific product, we'll use yours and document it in the scope.
Can you work around our patient schedule?
Yes. Most medical and dental sites have us in after the last patient leaves. Typical starts are 5pm or 7pm. We can also work split shifts for high-volume buildings.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. Fully insured and fully bonded. We name the building owner or practice on the COI if requested.
How quickly can you start?
A walkthrough usually fits in within a week. Most medical accounts go live within two weeks of the signed scope.
