What "specialty projects" means at Above N' Beyond
Some cleaning jobs are not recurring. They are one-shot, deadline-driven, and graded by whether the building can be handed over to occupants the next morning.
What "specialty projects" means at Above N' Beyond
Specialty Projects is our project-based work. Unlike our recurring contracts (nightly office cleaning, weekly medical cleaning, monthly carpet), these are one-time mobilizations sized to a specific scope and a specific date.
We schedule crews against your construction punch list or your reopening date, work to a written scope, and walk the space with you at handoff.
Two service tracks live under this category:
- Post-construction cleaning. Final-clean of a renovated, fit-out, or new-build commercial interior. Dust extraction from ceiling grids, glass and frame polishing, floor protection removal, fixture and casework wipe-down, terminal vacuum and damp-mop.
- Disinfecting services. CDC and EPA-aligned cleaning and disinfecting on a one-time or short-cycle basis. Used after a confirmed outbreak, before a tenant move-in, or as part of an annual infection-control reset.
The specialty services we run
Construction leaves behind dust the trades cannot remove with brooms. Our post-construction cleaning service handles the rough-clean and final-clean phases that the GC's clean-up day cannot.
Why Long Island Offices Stay
Why Long Island buyers choose owner-managed project crews
Project work is unforgiving on timing. A national chain that doesn't know your building will not hit a 24-hour turn.
Above N' Beyond is owner-managed, which means Mike Penoro himself walks the site, scopes the job, and stays accountable until the building manager signs off. Fully insured, fully bonded, with EPA-aligned products and the same consistent crews we use on our recurring contracts.
We are small enough to care about your deadline and big enough to put six technicians on a job overnight if that is what the scope requires.

Project cleanup reviews
We had a 24-hour window to clean an office build-out before tenant move-in. Above N' Beyond's crew was on-site by 6pm and the space was ready by 7am. (verified Google review)
Mike's team handled our disinfection after a flu outbreak hit the practice. Documented, on schedule, no drama. (verified Google review)
