Services Medical Office Cleaning

Medical office cleaning is not office cleaning with a different sign on the door. The waiting room, exam room, sterile area, and restroom each have their own surface protocol, their own product list, and their own dwell-time requirement.

What medical office cleaning covers

Medical office cleaning is a recurring cleaning and disinfection program for clinical and adjacent areas of a healthcare facility. It is executed under CDC and EPA-aligned protocols by HIPAA-aware crews trained to maintain patient privacy.

It is distinct from environmental services (EVS) inside hospitals, but the surface protocols overlap.

We clean and disinfect the full medical office envelope on a documented schedule, typically nightly after the last patient, using EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectants with the dwell times the label requires.

The crew rotates through exam rooms, the lab or sterilization area, the front desk and patient-facing waiting area, restrooms, the break room, and any provider-only back office.

Each surface category gets the right product and the right tool. Microfiber on exam surfaces. Color-coded mops for clinical vs. restroom areas. A dedicated terminal-cleaning pass on procedure rooms.

A medical office that fails an infection-control audit loses time, money, and patient trust. A practice that simply looks unclean loses repeat appointments.

The Above N' Beyond program is built so that the office passes both, the documented audit and the human eye test, without the practice manager having to micromanage the cleaner.

Our process

How our medical cleaning process runs

  1. 01

    Walkthrough and scope

Mike walks the office with you. We identify exam room count, surface types, special-handling areas (radiology, dental ops, OB-GYN procedure rooms), and the access pattern (key, code, cleaner-after-hours).

  2. 02

    Written scope and schedule

You get the scope in writing: what gets cleaned, what product is used, how often. No surprises later when "you forgot to clean the back hallway" comes up.

  3. 03

    Crew onboarding

Our techs train on your specific scope and the floor plan before the first night. Background checks are documented and on file.

  4. 04

    Nightly recurring service

The crew arrives at the agreed time, clocks in via the agreed method, and works the scope. Restock items and any maintenance flags get logged.

  5. 05

    Quarterly walk and adjust

Mike walks the office with the practice manager every quarter to catch drift and adjust the scope as the practice changes (new procedure room, additional provider, etc.).

Common questions

Medical cleaning FAQs

Do you use hospital-grade disinfectants?
Yes. EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectants matched to your surface and pathogen scope. Dwell times observed.
Can your crews work after our last patient leaves?
Yes. Most of our medical accounts schedule 5pm or 11pm starts. We can also schedule mid-day terminal cleans on procedure rooms.
Are your technicians background-checked?
Yes. Background checks are documented and on file. HIPAA awareness training is part of onboarding.
Do you handle biohazard waste?
We do not transport or dispose of regulated medical waste. That is a separate licensed service. We do empty and reset the receptacles your medical waste vendor services.
